A short trip with my sister

     It was 11/11, the weather was perfect. It was sunny. A perfect day to have a trip. My sister and I decided to have a short trip discovering where we are living. We had been living here for over a year but knew nothing about this place. We walked into uptown. While my sister was taking pictures for her project, I was just walking with her, looking around and saying hi to people. We had lunch at an Asian Restaurant. We had a small talk with the lady boss ( I think she is). She is from Myanmar, she said we look like Japanese people. My sister said we are Vietnamese. She is very nice and cute☺. We passed a free library and museum. I wanted to take a look inside but it was closed because it was Veterans Day. We also saw a Veterans Memorial. There was a family, a mother and her two children (I think). I saw the mother give her kids flowers and tell them about Veterans Day. We went a little bit more and went back to our apartment about 3 p:m. A perfect end for my sister and me’s trip.
